Thank you for choosing Southwestern College to help you achieve your educational goals. Whether you are a new or returning student, you will see that Southwestern has many paths for you to pursue in accomplishing your short- and long-term academic objectives.
If you are new to Southwestern College, or haven’t been here for a while, we encourage you to click on the “Explore, Apply, Register” box in either the credit or noncredit square. This will walk you through all the steps to start your educational journey with confidence. Don’t know the difference between credit and non-credit? No worries! Click on the arrow at the bottom of each box to see what that means.
If you have already taken classes before, head straight to the “Apply • Register” box in either the credit or noncredit square, and it will take you to WebAdvisor to move you along your path.
Still have questions? Jot a question in the JagBot, scroll to our Virtual Chat or click on the “Steps to Apply.” That should guide you in the right direction.
Welcome to the long line of students who fulfill their dreams at Southwestern College. We are so glad you are here!
Credit courses are designed for students who are interested in earning college units towards a degree or certificate. Students who take credit courses receive a letter grade (A, B, C, D or F) at the end of the semester.
Noncredit courses are open to the public, without prerequisites, with flexible and convenient schedule. They are offered consistently every year and term, some are eligible for certificates, prepare students for credit courses, and prepare students for the workforce.
